- Just Right — Keep this exercise the same next time.
- Stay at This Level — Do this same exercise again before changing it.
- Make It Easier — Keep this exercise, but make it easier next time.

Why This System?
Many rehab programs give you a simple prescription like:
3 sets of 10 repetitions
But that doesn’t tell you something important:
Was that exercise too easy?
Was it too difficult?
Or was it the right level for your body today?
If exercises are too easy, progress slows.
If exercises are too hard, symptoms can flare up.
The key is learning how to adjust the difficulty based on how your body responds.
The Sweet Spot for Progress
Exercises should feel:
Challenging — but manageable.
That usually means:
• You feel your muscles working
• You can complete the set with good form
• You still feel like you could have done 1–3 more repetitions
This allows you to build strength and confidence while keeping symptoms under control.
